Various photographic series

I am an occasional photographer. I’m not one of those amazing serious photographers, but when the medium fits the project, I will include it.

Although I don’t take a lot of serious photos, and when I do, it’s usually part of a project where photography makes more sense than other media. To me, nothing here would have made sense as paintings, for example.

In the case of the first series below, for example, 3D photography made sense for the Nuclear Dichotomies show, because stereo photography was in it’s prime in the post-WWII era the exhibition addressed. It took viewers back to the moment in history I was exploring.

Other series, like the photos taken in Uganda, are purely for aesthetic reasons.
